Privacy notice
How Straightpath International School handles the information you share with us.
Who we are
Straightpath International School uses this admissions website and its WhatsApp channel to receive admission enquiries, run the admission test and assessment, and manage admissions from Kindergarten to Grade 10 and the +1 programmes. For any privacy question you can reach the admissions office on +91 98954 31234.
What we collect
- Student details: name, current class, board, current school.
- Parent or guardian details: name, WhatsApp number, optional second number and email.
- Admission records: test or assessment results, interview notes, decisions.
- Documents you upload, such as certificates and photographs.
- Payment references and receipt details for fees you pay.
- Message history on the school's WhatsApp channel.
- Anonymous step counters on the public forms (which step was opened, never who opened it) and, when advertising measurement is enabled, standard campaign measurement identifiers.
Why we use it
To process your child's admission application, to communicate with you about it on WhatsApp, to collect and verify fees, to keep school records required by law, and to improve the admission process. We do not sell personal data, and we do not use your child's data for advertising audiences.
Who can see it
Only school staff who need it for admissions, each limited by their role. Service providers process it on our instructions: WhatsApp (Meta) delivers our messages, and our payment gateway processes fee payments. They are not allowed to use it for anything else.
Children's data
A parent or guardian provides the student's details and consents on the child's behalf. If you believe a child's data was shared with us without proper consent, contact us and we will remove it.
How long we keep it
Enquiry data that does not lead to an admission is kept for the current admission cycle and a short follow-up period, then removed. Records of admitted students are kept as school records for as long as the law requires. You can ask us to delete enquiry data earlier using the form below.
Your choices and rights
- Stop non-essential messages any time by replying STOP on WhatsApp, or by withdrawing consent below. Essential messages about a live application may still be sent.
- Ask for a copy of the data we hold about your family.
- Ask us to correct anything that is wrong.
- Ask us to delete enquiry data (subject to records we must keep by law).
We respond to data requests within 30 days. If you are not satisfied, you can raise the matter with the school office and, where applicable, with the Data Protection Board of India.
